At 6-foot-2, 250 pounds, it's hard not to find Terrell Combs on a football field near you. College coaches can't seem to dodge him either, as they have lined up outside Bryan Station in hopes of wooing Combs as a possible addition to the 2008 Signing Class.
One of those schools is the University of Kentucky, who hosted Combs on an unofficial visit this past weekend as the Wildcats upset the Cardinals, 40-34.
"It was crazy," Combs said. "They never gave up the entire game. Even when they were down they kept playing and working hard for the win."
Was the Lexington (Ky.) native surprised by the victory?
"Yeah, I was," Combs said. "I haven't made my choice yet and my recruitment is still open for me, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised."
Combs, who is not expected to make a commitment, until after he receives his ACT score in the mail, has already set up visits to Minnesota and Purdue, but thinks the Wildcats definitely improved their chances with the victory.
