Kentucky Sports Information Director Scott Stricklin has informed KSR that Jared Carter, Derrick Jasper and Joe Crawford are expected to participate in Big Blue Madness this Friday at Rupp Arena.
The three Wildcats spent an extensive amount of time during preseason conditioning recovering from their injuries.
Carter injured his surgically repaired right shoulder soon after being cleared to resume play in June. Carter underwent a procedure soon after to repair the shoulder. Carter played in only three games in 2006-2007, after suffering a shoulder separation.
Jasper underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee in June. Like Crawford the procedure was performed to correct cartilage problems.
In mid-September Crawford also underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee. Crawford's procedure was done to remove cartilage that had been causing his left knee to be sore and to swell.
