Visit Forthcoming For Florida TE

2008 Kentucky Wildcat football recruiting update from Kentucky Sports Reports' Rob Gidel

Sean Stackhouse Profile

After taking an unoffical visit to Kentucky to see the Wildcats take on Louisville, many thought a possible commitment may be in the works for Jacksonville (Fla.) native Sean Stackhouse.

But, some new offers and some new interest from some in-state schools have changed Stackhouse's tune.

"After my visit to Kentucky, there were a lot of things to think about and I just wasn't ready to make a decision," Stackhouse said. "So I sent out some new tapes and am waiting to hear back from some more schools. For now, I am just getting some of visits set up for December."

His first trip in December is set for Kentucky, where Stackhouse tripped a few weeks ago for his first trip to Lexington. His second will be to Miami, but after that, the 6-foot-4, 245 pounder is still unsure.

"I just sent my game film to a couple other schools," Stackhouse said. "UCF, I really like them, a lot, but they haven't offered me, yet. I'd like to hear more from them and set up a visit."

Middle Tennessee, Kentucky, Miami and NC State are currently the offer list for the Mandarin standout. "I just want to see the life," Stackhouse explained. "I want to see what it's like to be a college student and live the college life. From there, I just want to see if I fit in. Small town or big town."
