Darius Miller signs with Kentucky

Darius Miller, the 6-foot-6 wing forward from Maysville (Ky), became a Kentucky Wildcat this morning at 10:00 a.m. at a signing conference at Mason County High School. Miller is rated the # 35 prospect in the 2008 class by Scout.com.

Accompanied by friends, family, faculty, teammates and media, Miller signed his national letter of intent to play for the Kentucky Wildcats at a 10:00 a.m. signing conference at Mason County High School. Joking at the ceremony, Mason County Principal Stephen Appelman suggested that Coach Billy Gillispie of Kentucky recommended a "time share" arrangement to allow Miller to play for both Mason County and Kentucky this year.

Miller's Mom and Dad, Nicole and Bryan Miller, were present for the ceremony.

Miller, one of the preseason favorites for Kentucky "Mr. Basketball" this year, committed to Gillispie and the Wildcats earlier this fall. The signing makes it official.
KSR would like to thank Patrick Appelman and Stephen Appelman for their invaluable assistance and the accompanying photograph.
