It's Official: "I'm a solid verbal now."

Kentucky Wildcat football recruiting from Kentucky Sports Report

Trevino Woods Profile

In the end, he was right.

Once considered the first member of the 2008 recruiting class for Kentucky, Athens (Ga.) offensive lineman Trevino Woods just wanted to do one thing.

See Kentucky.

"I got to finally see the place," Woods said of his visit. "It was everything I expected and everything I had heard it would be. It was nice and clean, and just a great atmosphere. Very family oriented."

And now the recruiting circus has finally come to a close. "It's over," Woods said. "I'm a solid verbal now. I am not going anywhere, I am sticking with my commitment to Kentucky. I am not going on any visits."

Woods had planned a visit to Clemson, but the trip was cancelled. He had also been associated with additional schools throughout the process, including Georgia, but his verbal to the Wildcats nevered wavered.

"I really liked the CATS center," Woods said. "That really stood out. Other than that, we really just hung out the entire trip. My host was James Alexander. He's a real nice guy from Georgia. He showed me the dorms and where I'd be living next year and just the campus."

"It was a real nice visit and like I said, everything I thought it'd be."
