Shannon's game, recruitment "wide open"

Terrence Shannon is hearing from a lot of ACC and SEC schools these days. has an update from Shannon on how his recruiting process and AAU season have progressed this Summer.

Terrence Shannon can be described in two words:

Wide Open.

Shannon, a 6'6" 205lb forward from Forsyth, GA has played quite well this Spring, displaying his high energy and desire to play a wide open style on the floor. "My quickness and ability to run the floor," Shannon says are his biggest strengths in his game. "I just like to play an up tempo style."

With offers from schools like Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and others, there is only one way Shannon can describe his recruiting process right now: Wide Open. "I can't even remember all the schools that I've been hearing from right now. I don't really have a leader, I am wide open. I plan on taking all my visits and deciding this Fall."

One school that Shannon could remember was Kentucky. "I really like Kentucky, they like to get up and down the floor and play an uptempo style. I talk to coach Cyprien sometimes, but I haven't heard from him in a while." Shannon seemed unsure at first as to whether or not he had been offered a scholarship from Kentucky, but later claimed to have an offer on the table from the Wildcats.

Terrence Shannon is a a 4 star power forward in the 2009 class. He is a member of the Atlanta Celtics.
