The University of Kentucky is recruiting Qua Huzzie as a Will Linebacker for their defense. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Huzzie has shown enough to receive offers from several programs, but right now, one program has taken the top spot.
"Right now Kentucky would be my top school," Huzzie said by phone on Tuesday night. "I really liked the coaching staff and the environment surrounding the program."
Other schools that have caught the eye of Huzzie include, South Carolina, Memphis, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt, Duke, Mississippi and Florida. All but Mississippi and Florida have offered Huzzie and he's set a timetable for making his decision.
"I really want to make my college choice before my senior season. I'm looking at making a few visits to see more about each school I've got interest in and will then look to commit."
Huzzie visited Kentucky the last week of school and looks to make a return trip in mid to late July.
We'll continue to follow the recruiting of Qua Huzzie until he makes the call. Here are some highlight clips of Huzzie in action.
