Huzzie, the 30th rated middle linebacker in the nation according to Scout.com, has been among Rich Brooks' top targets for the 2009 class The 5-foot-11 210 pound senior-to-be, has caught the attention of several programs including Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt, Florida and Mississippi. But at this time, he's only made visits to a few of those programs. "I've been to Auburn, Georgia and Kentucky," said Huzzie. "I'm going back to Kentucky this month," said Huzzie.
So what is Huzzie looking for in the school he chooses? "The most important factor for me is the people around me and the coaching staff," he said. Kentucky has a few guys that he's friends with on the roster and that plays a part. "They have a few guys that I am friends with up there. That's another reason I like them," he said. "Right now, Kentucky stands out more. They are number one," he continued.
Even though he's one of the top players in the country, Huzzie still feels that he has work to do. "I want to use my hands better to get off the offensive linemen," he said. "I think I do well at finding the football. I read the play well and the overall offense," Huzzie said.
Huzzie plans to make his final decision in the near future. "I want to decide before the season. Our first game is August 29th. We play Newnan (Ga.) High," he said.
