At 6-foot-4 210 pounds, Wilson possess great size for several positions on the field. "I feel like I can play linebacker, strong safety or defensive end," said Wilson. "A couple of coaches say I need to perfect one trait," he said. "I need to improve on taking on blocks. That's my biggest problem, using my hands. I'm getting better at it though. Coach told me to use my hands and go with my instincts," said Wilson.
Wilson does possess a trait that college coaches covet. "I'm a playmaker. I make big plays and I'm always around the ball," he said.
Wilson's interest comes from several programs. But he's cut his list down to a select few. "I'm most interested in Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas and Auburn. I'm kind of narrowing it down," said Wilson.
Wilson has a pretty good grasp on the teams recruiting him. He's been on several campuses.
"I've been to Tennessee, Kentucky and Louisville. I'm going to Cincinnati, Indiana and Purdue," Wilson said.
Wilson doesn't have a favorite at this time, but he knows what he's looking for in the school he chooses. "It's academics," he said. "The people on the roster are important. I want to go somewhere that I'll get to play. I want to make a connectin with the coach. I just want to take my time and take my official visits."
Wilson is currently a three-star prospect according to Scout.com.
