Wikipedia tells us "KARMA" can differ slightly between traditions, but has the same general concept.
The University of Kentucky football program and assistant coach Chuck Smith are hoping the past is the future as his two previous trips up I-75 have produced two eight-win seasons and a bowl victory.
Having lived in Southwest Ohio all of my life I'd never heard of the UK Ohio Convention until Kentucky Sports Reports Larry Vaught told me about it.
While I had a prior commitment (25-th High School Reunion) going down I-75 three exits for a chance to see Larry and members of Big Blue Nation was all I needed to take a few hours away. Let me tell you it was worth the time and anyone who loves UK Athletics needs to mark next year's event down now.
With several key speakers throughout the day, my goal was simple. See Larry and hear UK football assistant coach Chuck Smith talk about the football program. Anyone who lives in the Tri-State area should make it a point to contact Jim Porter for more information on this annual event.
Not only were fans treated to a great Wildcats football highlight video that brought cheers from the crowd, they had the chance to hear the thoughts of Coach Smith and Larry about the upcoming season.
Fans Watch UK Football Highlights
Topics ranged from the incoming freshman to the hottest topic on the minds of Wildcat fans, "Who will be the starting quarterback this fall?"
Between award winning writer Larry Vaught and Coach Smith, fans of the Wildcats came away ahead of the curve when it comes to talking about the football program and upcoming season.
While I could only stay for the morning session the day was full of more special guest and is a must for any Wildcats fan.
Having the chance to speak with several fans during the breaks was enjoyable and I look forward to being part of next year's event if Larry can work it out for me to be there.
Here are a few photos from the morning session.
