After receiving a commitment from Dominique Ferguson, Kentucky has also been recruiting his Lawrence North (In.) teammate, Justin Martin. KSR had a chance to speak with Justin about his recruitment.

Justin Martin is receiving attention from several high major programs. One reason is his all around game. "I'm just an all-scorer. I can shoot it, and I can drive. I play smart basketball," said Martin. "I probably would say (I want to get better) at defense and staying focused. I need to improve my court-awareness too," said Martin.

Improvements aside, Martin is being courted by many major programs. Florida, Wake Forest, Memphis, Marquette, Louisville, Dayton, Cincinnati and Xavier have all shown interest. "I don't have a top five list or anything. I just have people that I like who have contacted me," Justin said.

"I've heard from Kentucky," said Martin. "I haven't talked to them in a little while," he said. "I talk to Indiana the most from the in-state schools," he said. "I'd like to hear from Tennessee. I really like that school," said Martin.

With Ferguson already in line to attend Kentucky, could that sway Martin to the Wildcats as well?

"We talk about things a lot. I still don't know where I want to go. Me and Dominique are gonna be close friends regardless. That hasn't had any affect on my decision," said Martin.

Justin Martin is a four-star prospect and the number five small forward in the nation according to Scout.com.
