Maurice Langston is looking to make his decision to visits and his college decision in the near future. "I'll probably choose around signing day," said Langston. "But I want to take all my visits," said Langston. Langston intends to enroll in January, so the decision must come with haste.
The first day of the signing period for junior college prospects is December 17th. In the meantime, Langston will be taking his visits.
"I took one visit to Mississippi State the week before Thanksgiving," said Langston. "I've got one schedule tomorrow for UAB and then one for Troy right after that," he said. And what about Kentucky? "I haven't talked to them about the visit recently. I don't have much time left before signing day. I want to make sure I get a trip in up there before it's too late," said Langston.
Whatever school lands Langston will get a player who can help immediately. "The best way to describe me is as a playmaker. I like having the ball and making the most of it," Maurice said. Langston accounted for 21 touchdowns this season as a wide receiver and a kick returner. "I think I want to get better at the game overall," said Langston. "I want to learn everything I an about the game. You can never know enough."
Are there any favorites among Langston's schools? "Everybody is on the same level until I take my visits," said Langston. "I"m justtrying to find the best environment; somewhere I'd be able to play the most," he said. "I need to be able to play early too, because I only have two years left," said Langston.
Another thing that could keep Langston closer to home is a family matter. "I really want to be somewhere so I can see my daughter regularly."
Langston will have the upper-hand on most incoming recruits anywhere he goes because of his early enrollment. "I think it'll help me a lot. I'll be able to go in during the spring and learn the formations and be with the team. It'll give me an advantage," Langston said.
Langston is a four-star prospect according to Scout.com.
