Pat Miller led his Hoover High (AL.) Buccaneers to a 13-2 record and an appearance in the state championship game. After tallying 80 tackles and six interceptions, Miller has seen a rise in his recruitment. "I have plans to visit Oklahoma State, West Virginia and Mississippi State," said Miller.
And with the hiring of a new coach at Auburn, has Miller heard from Chizek or his new staff recently? "I haven't heard from them," said Miller.
So how was Pat's visit to Kentucky? "It was a good visit," he said. "We just looked a the school's facilities. We watched them practice and prepare for the bowl game," he said. "I like Kentucky a lot now after the visit," said Miller.
Kentucky's recruitment of Miller hasn't stopped there. The Wildcats had coaches in his home last week to further discuss their desire for Miller to become a part of the program. West Virginia and Mississippi State also made visits to Hoover last week as well.
So where does Miller fit into Kentucky's plans if he chooses to sign with the Cats in February? "I'd have a good chance to start because they need help at corner. The coaches said they are losing four or five corners," said Miller.
Miller's not ready to proclaim a leader at this point. "I'm still wide open," he said.
Miller is a three-star prospect and the number 72 corner in the nation according to Scout.com.
