Jon Hood named Kentucky "Mr. Basketball"

Incoming freshman Jon Hood has been named Kentucky's "Mr. Basketball." This will be the second straight year a UK signee has garnered the honor, following Darius Miller last season.

Hood, a 6-foot-7 wing player who averaged almost 29 points per game and more than 13 rebounds, will be presented with the award Wednesday afternoon during a ceremony at his school.
