Meeks earns honor from NABC

Honors continue to roll in for Kentucky guard Jodie Meeks.

Jodie Meeks earned yet another post season award, this time being named to the NABC State Farm Coaches' All-America team, which was named at the Final Four.

Meeks has also earned All-America honors to date from the Associated Press (2nd Team), USBWA (2nd Team) and The Sporting News (2nd Team), and FoxSports.com (4th Team).

In 2008-2009 Meeks led the SEC in scoring at at 23.7 ppg clip, which ranked him 8th nationally in that statistic.

Jodie set the school record for points in a game at Tennessee, with 54; eclipsing the previous mark set by Dan Issel. Meeks also set a school record in three-pointers in a season (108); and shot 90.2 percent from the free throw line on the season.

Meeks set school records for most points by a Kentucky player in Freedom Hall eclipsing the mark set by former UK All-American Mike Pratt, the current color analyst for basketball radio broadcasts; and most points by a Kentucky player in Tennessee's Thompson-Boling Arena.
