Here is what UK freshman DeMarcus Cousins had to say about some of his new teammates.

Freshman center Daniel Orton: "We have played a lot together. He is a monster down low. He has a big body. He's a strong, physical player. I think he's truly a great player and is probably a lot better than a lot of people realize."

Junior forward Patrick Patterson: "I had a chance to play against Patrick when I went to Kentucky's elite camp my sophomore year. That is when he was first coming in. He is strong. He is a monster, too, with the way he can just knock you around. We have a chance with him to do something great this year because he's that good."

Freshman guard Eric Bledsoe: "He's a good friend because he's from Alabama, too. We lost to them in the state playoffs. He's an awesome player. He is the kind of point guard I want on my team. In my opinion, I thought for a long time that Eric should be at least the No. 2 point guard in the country last year. I am glad he finally got the recognition he deserved and I'm really glad he is coming to Kentucky."

Freshman guard John Wall: "He's awesome. I don't even know how to describe all the things he can do. If he's on the floor, you are automatically a better player. He's a cool guy, too. We're so lucky to have him."
