Burton: "Exactly. That's my goal. My first goal is to win, get to the playoffs and compete for the Super Bowl. Then after that I want to definitely want to get to that second contract and make the money I think I should make."
Question: Do you miss the friends and relationships you had at UK or do you develop new friends and relationships in the NFL?
Burton: "You will never make the same friends that you made it college. That's impossible because you did so much with these guys. The things we did here at Kentucky are really not heard of. We changed the culture of football. We made it to where these guys from Georgia, Florida and Texas want to come to Kentucky. When I came to Kentucky, it was not really like that. We are keeping the best talent we have in the state at Kentucky. You will never be able to make new friends like I did at UK, but you have your few that you have. But when I see Wesley, Steve, Andre, Ralf or Tamme, it's definitely special. We miss each other. It's like, ‘How have you been or I saw you doing this on ESPN.' We call and congratulate each other. We definitely stay in touch."
Question: Is it hard to believe that so many of your UK teammates are in the NFL now?
Burton: "That's rare for a team. I am definitely pretty sure we should have had some guys going higher in the draft. Maybe we all should have. But I think soon people are going to now what Kentucky is about and the talent level that Kentucky has."
