The Wildcats held an intersquad scrimmage yesterday, and aside from bumps and bruises, came out relatively unscathed--always a good thing. Nonetheless, Coach Brooks believed the time was right for a day off.
"We are going to suprise the team and take them to a movie today instead of practice," Brooks "tweeted" from his Twitter account. "More time to heal the body."
Brooks noted that fullback John Connor has an ankle sprain. Other players are recovering from other injuries, including wide receiver/multipurpose back Randall Cobb, who has been suffering from back spams.
Practice will resume Monday.
