Kentucky received a visit from one of the top receivers on their wish list when the Cats took on the Crimson Tide. Maudrecus Humphrey talked with KSR about his visit to Lexington.

Maudrecus Humphrey was already high on the Wildcats, but the opportunity to visit during a game atmosphere really helped him see what the Wildcats were about. "It was really good. I really enjoyed it," Humphrey stated. "My family did too. I like the coaching staff and the environment."

When a team like Alabama comes into Commonwealth Stadium, the Wildcat fans would clearly be hyped up. Humphrey witnessed that. "Just seeing the environment. That stood out. The vibe of being there. I just felt the energy," he said.

This likely isn't the end of Humphrey's visits to Lexington. This visit was an unofficial. So what about his officials? "I'm still waiting on that," he said. "I'll set those up after the season," he finished.

Humphrey said his list of schools hasn't changed much. He previously listed Kentucky along with Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Arkansas, West Virginia and UAB.

Maudrecus Humphrey is a three-star wide receiver according to Scout.com.
