Volleyball Cats look to clinch SEC East Title

AUBURN, Ala. - Coach Craig Skinner's volleyball Wildcats have improved each season he has been in Lexington, but have yet to surpass perennial volleyball power Florida. With a win today at Auburn, Kentucky would do just that.

No. 11 Kentucky (25-2, 15-1) leads the Southeastern Conference overall with a one-game lead in the loss column over Western Division foe LSU (15-2), and a two-loss margin over Florida in the East (14-3). A win today would make the final match -- a home match versus Florida - for the overall SEC championship, but the SEC East would already be assured.

Both Kentucky and Auburn will enter the Sunday afternoon matchup after tallying impressive wins as the 11th-ranked Kentucky volleyball team earned a sweep of Georgia and Auburn upset Tennessee Friday night. Tennessee gave Kentucky its only SEC loss this season. Kentucky visits Auburn for a 2 p.m. ET matchup at the Student Activities Center to wrap up its final two match road swing of the regular season.
