When asked about playing again Kentucky sophomore guard DeAndre Liggins said, "It feels great. I missed it a lot but when I was on the bench it gave me opportunities to understand the game more and see what other people were doing around me."
Liggins was glad to have the opportunity to go home for Christmas. "It was pretty good to be able to go back home and see the family and things like that, but we know we have to get back here and get ready to start playing."
What is practice like since returning from the break?
"It's been big and tiring but you just have to keep going. You have to keep that blood pumping and get ready for that game tomorrow."
