It wasn't long ago that Dyjuan Lewis had trimmed his list to three schools, Cincinnati, Kentucky and Purdue. Soon after he committed to the Bearcats. However things have changed a little in recent weeks.

With former Cincinnati head coach Brian Kelly now at Notre Dame, Dyjuan Lewis had to re-think his options a little. "I'm looking at Kentucky, Cincinnati, Purdue, Oregon and Notre Dame," said Lewis.

So has Kelly offered Lewis a scholarship yet? "He's thinking about it," said Lewis.

The four-star receiver is one of the best prospects on Kentucky's recruiting board and Kentucky is in desperate need of quality players at wide out. Lewis will be in Lexington for a visit on January 8th for his official visit.

"I'm looking forward to talking to the coaches more. I want to figure out the offense and get comfortable with the whole environment," he said.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder has great size and speed (4.47) for the receiver position, but he has also worked on other parts of the game. "I have improved my route running and my speed. I got stronger too," he said.

"My season went okay," he said. "I had an injury during our second game. I missed four games and sat out. I recovered good. People didn't even think I was ever hurt. I worked hard in rehab to get back onto the field," he said.

Lewis expects to make his final decision around signing day. He's also got visits scheduled for Cincinnati on January 22nd and Purdue on January 15th.
