Robinson, 6-foot-3, 250-pounds doesn't possess a great forty time with his 4.9, but he has good explosion off the ball. "He's a tough kid. He blocks well and he's well rounded," said Rankin. "He knows how to play to win. He's got great hands and he's a great catcher. He's got some ability to play different positions at the next level," said Rankin.
"I'm sure they'll try him at tight end. He could play on the defensive line. He has the frame to put on weight if he has to move to another position," Rankin continued. "He's a good athlete. He has played baseball and basketball here," he finished.
Rankin also talked about where Tyler could show improvement. "I think he needs to work on his speed. He'll need to get stronger and bigger, but he's got good work habits," said Rankin. "He'll do as he's told. He's been through a rigorous four years here and he knows how to do things right," Rankin finished.
