Calipari gets Bledsoe in gear at half

"I told him if he was not going to shoot, I am taking you out.

Calipari: "I told him if he was not going to shoot, I am taking you out. He has a one dribble pull-up (shot) that is as good as anybody in the country. That is his shot. That is the one he makes.

I tell him he doesn't have to shoot the 3, but he has to be prepared for the 3 and then take one dribble and shoot. But he has to shoot. If he does not shoot, then we are playing five versus four.

I told him his job is to shoot. He is a tough, hard nose kid who wants tow in. He reminds me of Sam Cassell. He will play whoever is hurting us. That's the kind of kid he is."
