So what does that do to their focus and could they be even more motivated to go out with a national title?
I think the ultimate goal is to win a championship and whatever role you have to play or whatever part you have to have in it all, that should be defined right now. Calipari has been there. He has dealt with one-and-done players. He has dealt with getting to the Final Four. What he has got to sell all these guys on is if we win a championship, we are all going to look good and are all going to get paid — even the guys that don't go to the NBA this year but do a year or two down the line.
I think the way you try to sell it is that the championship makes us all look good and to get that championship we all have to play together and all have to do our jobs. We have to have balanced scoring, help each other defensively and play hard.
With that philosophy in place, obviously when the season is over that is when people will really talk about where you are going to go and what are you going to do. That is when you make those decisions.
But close out this year and finish the deal. Once the deal is close, everything else will take care of itself.
