Already holding 14 offers at this point, it's clear that Colerain's Jarrett Grace will be a big name recruit, but not just regionally. "He's a national recruit," said Tom Bolden, head coach at Colerain.
Grace holds offers from schools such as Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Boston College and Stanford. But that's not all. "He just picked up an offer from Wisconsin this morning," said Bolden. "He's got an offer from Kentucky too," said Bolden.
So what does Grace think of the Wildcats?
"He likes Kentucky. He's going to try and get down there. He plays basketball right now. But after the season he's going to take some weekends and get some unofficials. He wants to visit there. He was really excited about that offer and it's close by," continued Bolden.
Grace, a 6-foot-4, 235 pound linebacker is not only a great football player, but he's a great student as well. "He's a 4.0 student. He's number four in his class. He's in AP and honor's courses."
He's also not shabby on the football field. "He'll be close to 250 pounds by the time we start next year. He moves well as an middle linebacker. He won't miss many reads on the field," said Bolden. "He was awesome for us this year. He's every bit the read deal. Some schools look at him and say he's what they want as a mike linebacker. He could also come off the edge at defensive end. He would probably be a phenomenal tight end in certain situations," he continued.
"He's not a great combine kid," said Bolden. "His speed is about 4.7 (forty) and he benches around 300 pounds, but I don't put a lot of stock into those things. He probably wants to get a little faster and stronger. But he can make plays for us sideline to sideline," continued Bolden.
Jarrett Grace is a four-star prospect according to Scout.com.
