"But I come back to Patrick. He had to make a choice about coming back. I never talked to him. I know there were people in his ear talking to him about leaving. Some did not want Kentucky to be good. Others just wanted him to leave. He could have come back and said, ‘This is my team and I am taking all the shots.' He didn't.
"He came back and played a different position. He improved in all areas and our team is 29-2 because of his attitude and approach. Now all of a sudden he has improved himself and his image and perception as a player.
"John has done his thing and could deserve it. Part of the season DeMarcus has been dominating and deserved it. We are not worried about that. We are worried about us moving on."
