"This semester has gone well. My grades are where they need to be. It's tough to do school work on the road, but you get a few days to go back and get it done. But it helps when you can do it on the road, too, so I usually try to take stuff with me," Wall, who is taking 12 hours this semester and says history is his favorite class, said.
"It is pretty hard at times to keep up academically. You have to focus on being a team leader and winning, but you have to do work in the class room, too. Everybody said I wasn't going to take school serious and that I didn't have to go to class. I am trying to be a leader for this team, so I have to make sure I go to class and do the right things so other players and people can't say basketball stopped me from being a true student-athlete.
"I know my sister is coming along right behind me. She is smart and she is going to get her degree pretty quickly, probably quicker than me. But that's pretty cool, too."
