Lamb to UK?

Kentucky appears to be reloading its backcourt this offseason after adding point guard Brandon Knight. Reports are now saying they will get Doron Lamb as well.

One of Calipari's top targets last summer, Kentucky has always been high on Doron Lamb. Lamb visited the Wildcats unofficially and eventually made his trek to Lexington for an official visit last fall.

After considering several schools, Lamb announced that he would make his decision public at the Jordan Brand Classic at Madison Square Garden in his hometown of New York.

Lamb's decision came down to Kentucky, Connecticut, Kansas and West Virginia.

Recent speculation said Kentucky was the likely destination and the first reports of Kentucky being the choice have began to surface on the eve of the decision.

Dime Mag's Aron Phillips had this to say in his article.

"While All-American senior shooting guard Doron Lamb is formally announcing his decision tomorrow at the Jordan Brand Classic, we already know what it's going to be. Doron Lamb is headed to Kentucky.

Choosing Kentucky over finalists Kansas, UConn, Arizona and West Virginia, we have confirmation from multiple sources that Lamb's decision came down to the Wildcats and the Jayhawks, with him ultimately choosing to play next season in Lexington."

While nothing is official until it comes from the horse's mouth and the Letter-of-Intent is signed, it has to look good for Kentucky and the Wildcat followers.
