NBA Expert see no limit for Wall

It's easy for everyone to realize that John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins were special players and certainly will be high picks in the NBA Draft — and maybe even the top two picks.

However, Matt Kamalsky — director of operations for http://www.draftexpress.com/ — says Wall might be more special than even UK fans understand.

"If John Wall wanted to, I feel pretty secure in saying that he could change sports right now and head to the Summer Games in 2012 running or jumping for USA Track & Field. I'm not willing to say that about 99 percent of the prospects we evaluate. For a guy that isn't too bulky, he's has that wiry strength and body control that you see in a lot of the stars in today's NBA. You saw it on occasion last season, but he's so fast that it wasn't as pronounced on the NCAA level as it will be next year," said Kamalsky.

Kamalsky says a popular topic of discussion now is how Wall will fare in the NBA compared to two other former John Calipari point guards — Tyreke Evans and Derrick Rose.

"Although we've already seen what Tyreke Evans is capable of when he's given the freedom to be ‘the man' on a bad team, I think Wall can be the better player. The limiting factor on Evans and Derrick Rose in terms of upside is their jump shooting. I feel Wall is the purest playmaker of the three and has the mechanics on his jumper to develop into a more reliable shooter than both of those guys if he puts in the work this offseason," Kamalsky said.
