Always in need of great athletes in the defensive back field and play-makers all over the field, the Wildcats officially offered a player who fills both roles on the squad.

Daylen Hall, a 5-foot-9, 190-pound corner from Saint Xavier High (Ky.) received his second offer (Marshall was the first) from Kentucky today.

"The UK scholarship papers just came in the mail," said Hall.

Hall has camped with Indiana and Kentucky and will also attend various other one day camps and combines in the coming weeks.

Daylen is described as one of best athletes in Kentucky for the 2011 class.

"I consider my speed and vision as the strengths of my game," Hall told Scout.com last month. "I want to get faster and also stronger so if I do play safety in college, I'll have that strength," he said.

"I've already gained 20 pounds since last football season. I'm looking to keep that weight and top my forty (yard dash) even lower than a 4.33 (where he has run in the past)."
