Christian Coleman, a 6-foot-5, 255-pound defensive lineman, has committed to the Kentucky Wildcats, according to Coleman's Facebook page.
"I am now a UK wildcat! I committed this afternoon around 5:30," said Coleman.
Coleman, after becoming Kentucky's second verbal of the day, talked about why he chose to pick the Wildcats.
"I have been thinking on it for a while and talking with my parents. And everything about it felt right," said Coleman. "I know I can get a good education with the degree I want and I can compete in the SEC," said Coleman. "I felt comfortable when I have been up there," he continued.
Coleman could play tight end, defensive end and with added strength, defensive tackle. But Kentucky likes Christian on the defensive side of the ball. "They are bringing me in as a defensive end, but I may see some defensive tackle by the end of my career there," he continued.
Last season, helping Milan to a 14-1 record, Coleman recorded 37 tackles and one sack last year in an abbreviated season. Coleman broke his ankle and missed a handful of games. As a sophomore he had 45 tackles and five sacks.
Coleman chose Kentucky over offers from Memphis, Duke and Middle Tennessee.
