Lexington Christian (Ky.) offensive lineman Zach West will be a Wildcat according to several sources close to West.

Zach will announced for Kentucky today after considering Penn State and Tennessee before settling on staying close to home. Louisville and Cincinnati were also under consideration until the last several days as well.

"I'm a good pass blocker and I use my hands well. I have good footspeed too. I always finish my blocks and I'm very hard-nosed. I love putting the other guy on the ground," West told Scout.com.

"But I still want to work on getting lower and improve my run blocking stance. And I still want to improve my footspeed in the pocket."

KSR will have more on West's decision later.
