According to the Mobile Press-Register, WP Davidson High receiver Rashad Cunningham has committed to the University of Kentucky. Cunningham is a 6-foot-4, 205-pound receiver with offers from several schools.

The Wildcats beat out Arkansas, Illinois, Louisville, Mississippi State, Memphis and Southern Mississippi for his services. Both Auburn and Alabama had also shown interest.

Scout.com's Andrew Bone talked to Cunning ham earlier this summer about his game.

"I can go up and catch the ball," he said. "I am a real good red zone threat. I can stretch the field. I am working on my route running and improving on catching the ball," he finished.

Cunning ham is the 19th public commitment for the Wildcats' 2011 class.
