Explorers grab center commitment

La Salle needed size and just got a massive commitment from a true center from New York.

According to sources, 7"3 and 300 pound Jameson Keefe has committed to the Explorers after visiting campus today. He is the fourth commitment to the 2007 recruiting haul which included fall signees Kyle Griffin, Jerrell Williams, and his twin brother Terrell Williams.

Keefe played for the Albany Rocks AAU program and his best basketball is ahead of him. He is already pushing 300 pounds to go with his tall frame so putting weight on him is not a concern. Keefe is most likely a redshirt candidate but Explorer coaches expect big things down the road from Keefe. He is still raw and learning the game at this point according to sources but his improvement has been nothing short of spectacular during this past season.

Dartmouth and most recently Bowling Green were Keefe's hardest pursuers along with the Explorers.
