Warhawks Land Impact MLB

A week after taking an official visit to ULM then hosting Coach Berry for an in home visit, Parkview Little Rock middle linebacker Michael Johnson informed WarhawkNation tonight that he has committed to the Warhawks. Johnson is ULM's 12th verbal commitment for the 2011 recruiting class.

"I committed to ULM", Michael Johnson sent in a text message to WarhawkNation late Saturday night.

Johnson immediately becomes one of the Warhawks prized 2011 commitments as Scout.com has the talented backer ranked as the top MLB in the state of Arkansas and one of the top 75 in the nation.

The 6'2 220 pound Johnson finished his career at Parkview with well over 400 tackles, and 20+ sacks.

Johnson posted a 4.74 laser forty time back in April to go along with a 4.47 pro shuttle. Michael also posted a 37 inch vertical leap. Out of over 900 participates at the camp he was named to the combines Top 25 team.

"It really showed me that I'm able to compete with the high caliber athletes that Texas is renowned for," Johnson said. "I was just out there representing Arkansas", Johnson told ARpreps.com in an previous interview.

Johnson joins Har-Ber OLB Hunter Kissinger as committed linebackers to ULM for the class of 2011.
