"I didn't know Monroe was that big", Warren defensive back Allen Tatum told WarhawkNation.
"All of my other visits I basically just drove in and went straight to the field for the game. This weekend I got a much closer look at the campus and the city".
Tatum was welcomed and hosted by current ULM defensive back Nate Brown on his visit. "Nate was real cool, he showed me around the campus, the popular places to eat, and some of the dorm rooms where I will be staying".
While Allen was impressed with the campus and the coaching staff he said it was talking to Dr. Parker that made him feel much more at ease about college life.
"Dr. Parker was real nice. She told me how everything was going to be academic wise at ULM. I am going to come in the summer and take six hours to get a jump start on my classes".
"Then I got to spend some time with Coach Wahl and watch some film. We talked about the defensive scheme and where I would fit in. They definitely like me at the safety position".
"I'm solid with my decision", said Allen. "I wanted my parents to come with me this time just to make sure but they had a great time too. Coach Berry said this class would be the program changing class".
