Lutcher DB Looks At Warhawks

Lutcher defensive back Kyron Jackson was another prospect that was in the stands to watch the ULM spring game. Warhawk Nation talked with Kyron about the game and his interest in ULM.

"That was my first visit to Monroe and ULM", said Lutcher defensive back Kyron Jackson. It was much better than what I was expecting"

"That new high definition scoreboard is going to be very nice when they get it finished".

Jackson said Coach Applewhite is his primary contact on the recruiting front. "I talked with Coach when I got there and got to meet some of the other coaches as well".

Jackson is put together well at 5'10 and 185 pounds and was recently clocked with a 4.55 forty time.

"ULM told me the first they could offer would be August 1st but I am getting hand written letters from them already".

"I need to take some summer school classes to get my core GPA up but I think they are going to offer. I like their 3-3-5 defense, it's a system I can contribute in".

As for the 2011 season Jackson and company are expecting big things.

"We return 9 defensive starters from last years quarterfinal team". "I think we are going to be much better", said Jackson.
