Warhawks Offer O-Lineman

With heavy coaching ties in Oklahoma the Warhawks are trying to land some more big men up front. ULM has their sights set on a good one in Claremore offensive lineman Dylan Foxworth.

"I sent ULM my Junior highlight reel after the season and soon after they said they were going to offer me", said Dylan Foxworth.

"I camped in early June at ULM and three days later my offer was confirmed". "I came back down to the last camp with my teammate Chase Talbert as well".

"It would be great if Chase and I could continue to play together in college. I know ULM is looking at him, I hope he gets an offer as well".

Dylan also made the trip to Monroe to watch ULM host Grambling Saturday night and got a closer look at the Warhawk offensive line.

"The place was unreal, I love the coaches and players energy". "ULM played well, I recognized some schemes on offense".

Recruiting Oklahoma has been a recurring theme for the ULM coaching staff and Foxworth says athletes are starting to take notice.

"ULM has a very good presence in Oklahoma, I know Ben Risenhoover and that he signed with them". "Three or four of their coaches are from Oklahoma as well".

Dylan says ULM has a lot to offer to him with way more pro's than con's.

"ULM just feels right as a whole to me, I really like the people, the coaches, and the facilities".

"My relationship with Coach Vice is a big plus. I was impressed with the campus and the stadium".

"The only con would be the 7 hours from home but that won't necessarily deter me from ULM".

Another big plus on the Warhawks side is playing time.

"Coach Vice is telling me there is no way he want's me to red-shirt my first season. He want's me to come in and compete for a job". "With bigger schools you end up waiting until your a JR or SR before you ever get on the field".

While ULM is Dylan's only official offer, other schools like Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Wyoming, and Colorado State are playing the wait and see game".

"Those schools want more film on me", said Dylan.

As for his commitment timetable Dylan says right now there isn't one.

"ULM isn't pressuring me to commit, they want me to take my time and make sure it's what's best for me".

"I'm not going to commit without being ready. I am not one of those that is going to give my verbal and then change it, I'm going to honor it".

"ULM definitely has a leg up on everyone else right now".
