With seven prospects signed in 2011 from the state of Arkansas, the ULM Warhawks have already added another one for the class of 2012.

Lakeside (Hot Springs) athlete Ajalen Holley gave his verbal commitment to Coach Reffett and Coach Berry last week and will take an unofficial visit this weekend when Arkansas State comes to town.

The 5'11 183 Holley is a back to back All State player as a sophomore and a junior leading his team in tackles, receptions, and touchdowns(13) in 2010.

"My coach sent tapes to ULM and I guess that is how they found out about me", said Holley. Coach Reffett came to my school and got my transcripts and the rest just fell into place".

"My family and I took an unofficial visit over the summer just to walk around the campus and check things out, and ULM offered me in July. ULM has a nice home feeling and they are a good program".

Holley is off to a hot start in 2011 already with 190 yards on 18 catches and 252 rush yards on 31 carries (8.1 ypc). Ajalen has already scored 7 touchdowns for the class 5A Rams.

"ULM is recruiting me a wide receiver but Coach Reffett said he wants to see some of my senior tapes on the defensive side of the ball".

In 2010 Holley led his team with 81 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 9 passes defended. This year he is again the leader with 27 tackles and 1 interception.

"Its only a three hour drive to Monroe for my family and ULM runs a nice spread offense that I can see myself playing in".

The popular Arkansas website Hootens.com has Holley as the #24 overall ranked player in the state of Arkansas.
