Players Of The Game: Arkansas - ULM

There were some clutch performances Saturday night in the Warhawks 34-31 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Brent Leonard - WR

This kid is just clutch, and plays the game a lot like Ed McCaffery did for the Denver Broncos. Leonard is not going to blow anyone away with his speed or moves but his hands are as good as anyone's in the nation.

The former walk-on found holes in the Hogs defense all night and torched them for 112 yards on 11 catches and the game tying 23 yard touchdown catch. The 11 receptions ranks 5th all time at ULM for a single game. Leonard also returned 3 punts for 38 yards and had one carry for 9 yards. His 159 all purpose yards led both teams.

Mitch Lane - Safety

Hey Arkansas, you let this kid get away. The Little Rock product played his high school ball at Watson Chapel and was 1st team All state his junior and senior seasons.

The 6'0 210 pound redshirt freshman started the ball game at the hawk position and led the Warhawks with 9 total tackles and recorded two pass breakups.

Kolton Browning

Is there anything this kid can't do? Finally healthy, the MaBank, Texas quarterback baffled the Razorback defense all night with his arm and legs.

One things for sure, Browning will sleep good after recording 83 total offensive plays. His 42 completions and 67 attempts are both 2nd all time in the schools program.

Browning moved into 4th place all time in career completions and now trails Doug Pederson (556), John Holman (593), and Steven Jyles (795).
