2008 First Look: OT Michael Green

At 6'4 and 290 pounds, Michael Green already possesses the tools college coaches are looking for. The big OT from Seagoville High in Dallas TX lists his early favorites and talks about his unofficial visit.

After a 7-3 season Seagoville High Dragon Michael Green is ready to take it to the next level this year. "I think we can go undefeated," said Green. "I have the Kimball game circled at the one I am looking forward too. It's been 5 years since we beat them and this is the year we do it."

"I have several one day camps scheduled this summer. I have already attended the Houston camp and have 2 more this coming week. Friday the 15th I will be in Shreveport for the ULM one day camp, and on the 17th I will be at the UNT camp."

Michael says that he is looking for a school with a good graduation percentage, good coaching staff, and campus. He carries a 3.3 GPA and scored a 19 on his recent ACT.

Teams that have taken an interest in Michael are Houston, ULM, New Mexico, UNT, Tulsa, and S.F.A. I haven't received any offers yet but ULM and UNT are recruiting me the hardest.

Michael took an unofficial visit to the University of Louisiana Monroe on May 26th with his family. "I had a great time on my visit. Their campus looks great, nice weight room facilities, and I got to see the field turf renovations. I really like how the bayou runs through the campus, that was nice."

As far as his favorite he says ULM and UNT are leading the pack, but will probably commit to whoever offers first.

As a Junior Michael was a unanimous pick for 1st team All-District in class 14-4A. Michael is 6'4 290 pounds and runs a 5.5 forty, benches 300 and squats 360.
