St Amant's Josh Jordan Makes It Iowa State
"It was a long sixteen hour drive up here but we made it", said Jordan. I just gave my verbal to head Coach Chizik to play for Iowa State.
We drove in last night and this morning I woke up and took a tour of the campus and the stadium. Josh said he really liked the campus and the atmosphere but that's not what sealed the deal for him.
The coaching staff, I really like the coaching staff up here. Coach Robert McFarland(Off Coordinator), Coach Fountain, and Coach Chizik really made me feel comfortable here. Not only that Coach McFarland and my father Jeff go way back.
Jeff Jordan and Robert McFarland were graduate assistants together at then USL. "Coach Chizik is a winner and has been everywhere he has been", said Jordan. He was with Texas when they won the National Championship and with Auburn when they went 13-0. Not only that, it's the Big 12 and I will get to compete on big time college level.
"I am just very excited about the opportunity to play at Iowa State and have the recruiting process over with. Now I can concentrate on my senior season and winning a state championship."
Jordan held offers from ULM, SELA, and was getting attention from Ole Miss and Memphis as well.
