RHP Hunter Scott: "ULM Campus Was Awesome"

It took just one visit for Hunter Scott to realize he wanted to continue his career at the University of Louisiana-Monroe.

"I came to Monroe about two weeks ago to visit the campus, talk to the coaching staff, and check out the baseball field", said Hunter. "I went back home and thought about my visit then called Coach Leone a week later and told him I wanted to commit".

Hunter Scott and his teammates just missed going to Colorado last year when they lost to eventual champion New Mexico JC in the regional's. "We will be very good again this year and I expect us to make an even deeper run. We have a great pitching staff and some really good hitters". Temple JC finished the season with a 40-17 record and 21-11 conference mark.

The 6'0 right hander from Marble Falls high school throws a two seam fastball and mixes in a slider and a curve ball. "My out pitch is my change up".

Hunter will come to a Warhawk team that plays in the 6th toughest conference in America in the Sun Belt. "The atmosphere in Monroe was great and everyone was so friendly. I was very impressed with how nice the baseball field was and the campus was awesome".

Hunter plans on majoring in Business Management or Marketing when he enrolls at ULM.
