The ULM Warhawks return home Tuesday night for a non-conference contest with Northwestern State Demons at 6:30 p.m. on Military Night at Warhawk Field. The Warhawks will sport camouflage jerseys during the game and auction them off to fans following the contest. All proceeds will go directly to the ULM Baseball team.
ULM is coming off its first conference series loss of the season after losing to FIU 17-10 Sunday afternoon. The Warhawks will hit the road again this weekend when they travel to South Alabama for a crucial three game series. Saturdays game can be seen on CSS/CST TV with the first pitch being thrown at 3PM.
In other Warhawks News, the Monroe Jaycees and The University of Louisiana at Monroe Athletic Department present the 5th Annual Rib Cook Off.
Due to weather issues the past 3 years, the Cook Off has been moved back and scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2008. The gates will open to the public at 11:00 AM.
The Warhawks and the Jaycees could not have picked a better weekend! The Warhawk Baseball team welcomes the Trojans of Troy, Alabama, for a three game series at Warhawk field.

- Entrance is free!
- Sampler/Peoples Choice Tickets are being sold. $10 for 7 tickets to taste ribs and 1 vote for your favorite team.
- Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in two divisions. (Open and Restaurants)
- Overall winner will win a brand new custom made Grill!
- $1 raffle tickets will also be sold for a cash prize.
The Monroe Jaycees and the Warhawk Athletic Department have joined together to make this event a success every year. The event is schedule to end at 3:30 PM on Saturday, allowing just enough time for everyone to come watch an exciting game of Baseball against the Troy Trojans, starting at 4:00 PM.
