Bullard Athlete Holds First Offer

Bullard High School athlete William "Charlie" Moore can just about play anywhere you put him on the football field. His performance at the ULM camp help in Sulpher, La earned him an offer from the Warhawks.

When we caught up to William Moore he was getting ready to compete in the 7 on 7 passing camp being held at Tyler Junior College. Charlie took a few moments with Warhawk Nation to catch us up on his recruitment so far.

I've camped at ULM, Rice, Utep, Houston, and Baylor", said Moore. I attended the Sulpher camp and that's where I picked up my offer from ULM. They are looking at me as an athlete. Rice and Houston are the two other schools that are showing interest in me as well. Houston is looking at me as a Quarterback, but I have no preference, I will play wherever I am asked to play".

The 6'3 194 pound Moore was clocked at 4.7 at the camp and threw for right at 1,300 yards last season with 8 touchdowns. He also ran for 796 yards and 15 more scores.

My dad and I are leaving Tuesday morning to go and visit the ULM campus and meet the coaching staff", said Moore.

Moore, who is ranked 5th in his class with a 4.7 GPA says he will probably look to major in business at the college level.
