Brownsboro's Warren Holding Four

Brownsboro defensive back Tristan Warren is unstoppable on the offensive or defensive side of the ball.

Class 3A Brownsboro high school had a somewhat disappointing 2007 season finishing at 5-5 and missing the playoffs. One of the returning stars that will help the team improve on that mark is 6'3 185 pound Tristan Warren.

"We should be pretty good this year", said Warren. We have a young team but expectations are still very high. Brownsboro plays a base 3-4 defense with Tristan locking down one of the corner back positions.

In 2007, Tristan had an incredible 83 tackles, 12 pass break ups, and intercepted 5 passes. Two of those he took back to the house for six points. On the offensive side of the ball Warren hauled in 20 passes for 450 yards and 5 touchdowns. "Coaches like my height because I can go up over smaller defensive backs and bring the tough catch in. On the defensive side of the ball I just lock down on opposing receivers".

"So far four Tristan has impressed four Universities in ULM, SFA, UTEP, and Louisiana Tech. "I camped at the ULM Shreveport camp and the Warhawks offered me afterwards. They want me to come in and play defensive back for them. Texas A&M and Baylor are also talking with me but no offers yet".

Note: Tristan holds a 3.3 GPA and scored a 17 the first time he took the ACT. He plans on retaking it at a later date.
