After missing last weeks contest between the Arkansas Razorbacks, ULM starting running back Frank "The Tank" Goodin returned to the Warhawk offense against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs tonight.
"Frank could have probably gone last week against Arkansas but we chose to hold him out to make sure he was 100%", coach Charlie Weatherbie said.
Tonight ULM fans got a good look at what a healthy Frank Goodin brings to the table as the sophomore turned in the Warhawks first 100 yard rushing game of the year.
"It hurt me to watch my teammates down like that last week knowing that I could have helped them in some sort of way", said Goodin. "The offensive line executed well tonight and the receivers blocked real well down field and that opened holes for me".
On the night Frank ran the ball 17 times for 114 yards and scored on a 21 yard touchdown in the third quarter. "I'm back for the rest of the season, I felt good all night".
