Top 100 Safety Takes In ULM Game

Making his first visit to a ULM football game, Central HS defensive back Josh Johns talks about his experience at ULM and which schools are actively recruiting one of the top safeties in the state of Louisiana.

One of the states best at the safety position is Central high school's Josh Johns. The 6'2 210 pound Johns took in his first ULM football game Saturday night to get a first hand look at what the Warhawks had to offer.

"This isn't my first time to the campus of ULM but it is the first time I have experienced a ULM game", said Johns. It's about a three hour drive for me and my father so not bad at all. I like the atmosphere here, it feels good.

ULM, Louisiana Tech, and LSU are the schools I hear from every week. Those are the ones that are recruiting me the hardest. I hear from some other schools every now and then but those 3 I talk to every week. I'm looking for a school that feels like home, and I like the feel here".

Josh and his Central HS teammates are off to an impressive 4-0 start to the 2008 season and will take on Woodlawn this Friday night. Stay tuned to Warhawk Nation as we continue to update Josh Johns recruitment.
