ULM Recruiting Georgia LB

It's not often you see the Warhawks recruiting the state of Georgia. That is the case here as ULM is trying to land the services of football and track star Andrew Glaize. So just how did this multi talented athlete jump on the Warhawks radar?

Tapping into the state of Georgia, the ULM Warhawks are trying to land the services of talented all around athlete Andrew Glaize of Landmark Christian high school.

Glaize is a do it all star for Landmark Christian playing running back, wide receiver, and linebacker. A 2 sport star, Andrew also runs track and competes in seven different categories.

So how did Andrew find his way from Georgia, to the ULM campus? "Coach Perkins had been talking to me when he was at Charleston Southern and just kept in contact with me when he came to ULM", said Glaize. I decided to make the trip over to check out ULM.

"The campus is real nice, I liked what I saw. The stadium and the turf are also nice, the players look ready to play. ULM looks like a good football program".

While Glaize plays all over the field for Landmark, what are the Warhawks recruiting the 6'2 210 pounder as? Really I am not sure exactly what they want me to play. Coach Perkins talked to me a little bit about playing Linebacker. Really I will play wherever I am asked to, I don't have a preference.

Glaize currently does not have any offers but says several schools are staying in close contact with him every week. "ULM, Mississippi State, Auburn, Liberty, and Samford all stay in contact with me".<.p>

If ULM did extend an offer, could you see yourself becoming a Warhawk? "Oh yes, definitely, I would love to come here and play football".
